I'm GearTight, or just Gear, and I just signed up a couple of minutes ago, though I have been watching this forum for a couple months already, and have played a couple rounds of Evochron Mercenary. Not much, because it's the first game I bought from SW3DG, but I have tried most of the older titles, especially Evochron Legends.
I may not have played the game too long yet (11 hours on my Steam counter for Mercenary), but I can already say that EM is probably the most immersive freeform space-trading and combat simulator I have ever played.
@Marvin: I noticed that already, and it's a pretty neat feature. Unfortunately, my pilot profile was lost a week ago when I formated and refitted my PC, so it's back down to about 30 minutes. I definately have to do something against that...
