Just a couple quick questions, sorry if they've been asked before:
1. Is it possible to turn down the volume on the engine sounds only? I have a subwoofer and the engine noises when accelerating are overpowering and loud. The rest of the effects volume is right where I want it so I don't want to turn the whole thing down, just engine noise.
2. I fly using M/K (I just discovered my X52 is dead, sigh) and with two monitors I'm having an issue where my mouse cursor will stray out of the game window onto my desktop. Is there an option to bind/trap the mouse so it doesn't leave the game window?
Thanks!

1) Someone could reduce the noice of the sound file itself , i would but don't have it . Unless you want a modded engine sound.

1.) You could also adjust the low range levels in the equalizer/volume control window (Win7) for your sound card/motherboard embedded chip. Had sorta the same problem early on when Vice tweaked the armor/hull impact .wav files. Adjusting the low range(s) in the "graphic" equalizer window helped a bunch. Not sure of the "range" involved with the thruster/afterburner .wav files. If you're unsuccessful, you might send Vice a note @ starwraith.com > contact.
2.) Nope, not in the game options/configure controls menu, nor elsewhere at this juncture. Is it a gaming mouse ? Check the mouse OEM/installation software for any hints ? And as above for lack of success. Vice may have a solution for you.

Couple questions on options
1. I have no idea for the sound issue other than the things already mentioned. I'd prefer having the game load a custom sound file instead of fiddling with equalizers and such every time you play the game. I suppose the easiest way to do that would be to get a sounds mod made by someone else and see whether or not the engine sound is for your liking; strip the files of sounds you do not wish to change.
2. I have the same issue with two monitors: when using directional mouse control, the invisible cursor travels to the second monitor and becomes visible when turning to the right long enough. And, of course, clicks on things there should I click any of the mouse buttons when it happens, taking away window focus from the game.
I tested the fullscreen graphics option - the cursor still flew off; the result of an accidental click was far more drastic.
My solution was not to use the mouse buttons in combat, so I unbound mouse buttons 1 and 2 and fired my stuff with the keyboard. Also, you can tap the Alt key to bring the cursor back to the centre of the game screen. It worked quite fine, except the minor annoyance of (if you let it annoy you) seeing the cursor fly around the second screen every now and then.
My next solution was to use a game controller and it's working fine, except I'm not done with finding optimal layout for it. But that's another story.
