CD Key issue

Hello,

Bought a few copies (Gifted some mates) of Evochron Mercenary for a few mates and myself. I am finding it wont start due to CD key not available. Is this a Steam issue or something to do with Steam talking to SW3DG for them. All 4 of us are having this issue via Steam.

Just clutching at straws as I have a few mates barking at me trying to work it all out so they can get into game.

I am suspecting Steam has ran out of CD keys or something due to it being on sale? Which is a bother, but thought I would ask here as well, as not getting much from Steam's end about it.

I have been trying to get ahold of them. Keys had been sent a while ago, but it appears they have not yet been integrated into their system and it ran out. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

I gathered it was a Steam thing (Steam peeps probably all in bed sleeping heh). I bought 4 copies for some mates and I, and we sure are going nuts awaiting to be able to play. Was our Saturday off and were all keen to get into Evochron. We are big X series players and this sim we had our eye's on for sometime now, and the steam sale price was to good to miss out on

I will keep trying to reach them and will post here when things change. If it takes too much longer, I can get things set up for those interested with some keys for the direct download version of the game. I thought things would be in place in plenty of time, but I guess it didn't work out that way.

I am a new Steam customer, so not a good start for me with them. But appreciate you letting us know and we shall await Steam to get there act together

I'm getting the same CD key message as Tanvaras, but as long as you're aware of the problem and have it handled it's no big deal. FTL got me hooked on space games again so I want to give this a go

Hi all.

Purchased the game yesterday but having issues with "Failed to contact CD Key Server".

I've read that the game dev is aware of this and just wondered if there is likely to be any sort of solution over this weekend ?

Was kind of quite excited about this game so am a bit disappointed that I can't play it.

If there is likely to be any sort of swift solution could I possibly be kept updated either on this thread or at my registered email address.

Just purchased the game on Steam myself, was looking forward to playing it...gotta love steam sometimes.

Glad to know the game creator is so involved in the process though, it's a reassuring feeling

Steam posted the keys about an hour or so ago, so you should now be able to access the game through their service.
