Thanks Busch!
My save game was in the Cerulean WZ and I couldn't really hold my own there...but now that I am honing a good trade route to amplify my funds a little (I'm sure there are better routes out there...but I'm happy with 10-12 mil/run). I still need to build a trade station near Atlas' gate as suggested.
I also plan on continuing on honing my combat skills so I will definitely go to Talison CZ, I go there regularly to buy weapons and run them to Atlas for a good profit. Running Mech's and Fulcrum Torpedoes works out quite nicely. I bought a License there which pretty much paid for itself after a few runs. But back to combat, I'll keep working on it...I am also more proficient at switching between laser and beam weapons...something I didn't really do before as I never had an quickly accessible mapped button for it on the Xbox 360, PS2 controllers or my flight stick.
But getting used to KB + Mouse Rev Y has been amazing honestly...feels natural and precise. So I plan to go do some races and practice maneuvers as well. Between that and practicing on a little easier enemy I'll hopefully hone my skills faster.
Thank you very much for the suggestions! Greatly appreciated!
