Explanation about Ship Assembly

Hi, i just brought the game and so stucked !

When i enter a station, i go to shipyard and want to buy 4 level engine.

When i drag the engine on the ship, there is a sentence in red :
Assembly -25

So i can't do upgrade even if i have the cash.

What can i do to solve this?
How can i unlock others frames?

Hello EvolvedFury, the -25 means you need to reduce something else on your ship to get to ZERO or in the + side as you have exceeded your ships design capacities. If you want that engine try going for a lower wing system or less cargo bays. If you don't want to give up anything you will need to get a better ship that has more design capacity.
