Question about direction

Ground Control.. Is there a numerical readout somewhere in the cockpit or nav (can't find one) showing your direction? When the science officer tells me 'containers at heading 253 and -3 degree pitch' .. do you just take your best guess by looking at the compass dial? Then again.. direction doesn't have meaning in space (10 degress.. 15 degrees.. etc) so maybe that's why. The science officer should just plot the damn course .. lol.

The compass and pitch ladder are the easiest things to mod. In fact, there is already a compass mod (somewhere) with ten-degree tic marks ... making it a lot easier to turn to the designated heading. Your custom pitch ladder should have one-degree tic marks.

Somebody came up with a method of using the nav log to plot a course. When applying that method of seach to the compass/pitch mods, you'll soon get to the point where you can probably find anything in less than ten minutes.

Very nice! would like to have a copy of those bitmaps. I'm no good with photo editing. I'll check around and see if I can found a mod that's already out.
