Sound with Win7 64bit *FIXED*

Hello all!

I just upgraded from WinXP 32bit Home to Win 7 Home 64bit.

It doesn't find my soundcard (Creative).

I tried installing from the CD that I got with the computer
as administrator, but it didn't work.:mad:

Any suggestions to what to do?

Also, is there a way of getting your computers info as in XP
(Start/Run/"MSCONFIG32"?

Did you try finding the 64 bit drivers on the internet? Gto the start menu, type in "msconfig" into the "Search Programs and files" at the bottom of the menu. You can find just about anything there.

Yes. I've been searching for hours. Can't find anything that works for Win 7 64bit.

Just tried to start the game and also got:
Error 7008 - Object does not exist at line 3618.
Object Number Not Found: 1

To tired now, continue my troubleshoot tomorrow.

Yeeeeaaaahhhhhh!

Just wanna notify that I got everything working now. It was a malfunctioning memory-stick.
I removed it (Now have 2Gb) and I can fly with highest setting on everything, including planet on ultra.

My god, it's a new game for me. Soooo beautiful planets. I had a blob before. LOL

Sound and graphics works beautiful..

Don't feel bad about not finding stuff for Creative - they have a reputation for poor support; either not producing new drivers quickly (if at all) or not making them obvious. I speak from several hours of search experience and having read "Amazingly Advanced Google Searching Methods for Geeky People" :P
