What we really need is a command to just ask the navigational officer if there is anything interesting in the current sector. That would make the finding of containers a whole lot easier and more realistic than a crew member that only does his job once upon entering a sector then clams up.
Very good point!;)

You saw the excel sheet, right?
-The race is not to the swift,
or the battle to the strong,
nor does food come to the wise,
or wealth to the brilliant
or favor to the learned;
but time and chance happen to them all...

...For death is the destiny of every man;
the living should take this to heart...

I think doing a fulcrum jump is the only way to wake up the crew members. That's why they only ever speak after you've jumped into a sector.

If your navigation officer isn't doing his job properly you should calc him later! Not sure what that is tho'... maybe something to do with calcium?

That's pretty awesome Wasp, many thanks!

I think container triangluation is going to be the next addition to the nav log program...

I never even thought of that! Sig updated...

That waypoint is a darn good idea - if the pilot only specifies one heading, that's what the program will do...

:cool: In my ship, the science officer calls out pitch and heading. The pilot (me) is usually off daydreaming.
