Yup, thats russian text if i'm not mistaken, but there are many characters you can input on keyboard that arent widely known,

Good luck with that. The planet is heavily defended and only the trickiest pilots manage to penetrate the barrier.

Has anyone landed on wolf, I can get down to just above city, before gravity kicks in and destroys hull,

Didn't see any shield. Not Sure whats causing the gravity field.

Not gravity, pressure. And possibly acid rain. And it is possible to land on Wolf, just not for very long. Class 10 core and class 5 booster with full power bias to shields and I lasted just long enough for the INV panel to come up before I popped like a submarine.
