Lost Rucker Gate

Post by Chicki »

Hi. I've been trying to find the Lost Rucker Gate in Rucker via the co-ords on SeeJays site. The co-ords seem way off somehow. Pos X -90000? Man, that's a long way. Are they correct? Thanks guys.

Hello and welcome to a great sim.

Yes, they are correct. You must not mix Sector X,Y,Z with Position X,Y,Z.
Position coords are +/- 100000 within a sector.

Try again and you'll find it.

See ya out there.:P

yeah, the way co-ords are displayed on SeeJays site,

are reversed, SX SY SZ | X Y Z but in games its X Y Z | SX SY SZ,

i'm presuming maybe older games had that format.

 Most objects show up on the nav map and, consequently, only require sector coodinates (SX, SY and SZ) to find them. Some objects, like containers, do not show on the map and, therefore, require "sub-sector" coordinates.

In your NAV console up to the right you have:
PX SX
PY SY
PZ SZ

The "Big" numbers go in the PX, PY, PZ boxes. (This is position in a sector)
The "Smaller" numbers go in the SX, SY, SZ boxes. (This is the Sector)

Good luck!
