Hi gang,
I have a quick (probably stupid) question about textures. I'm working on a city mod for EM. I like the default texture used for the cities, but I would like to simply replace the model. I've been testing it by simply using a cube model, which shows up in game fine.
The problem is that even though the default city texture is applied, the game does not apply any light sourcing, bump mapping, or specular mapping to the cube. The cube is always bright without any shading (even at night).
I've also tried using the ship2.x (capitol ship) sample from the customizing kit, just to see if it works for that one but it has the sample problem.
On another note, I've also noticed that the game seems to squish the model in one axis so the cube is a rectangle. Also, the cities on the planets seem to be in different places if a new city model is used. Why is that?:o
Ok, any help is appreciated!

(Stupid) Texture Question
If you'll send me the object you are working with, I'll work on getting the game and/or media compatible.

The new test build fixed the problem. Thanks Vice!
