Mouse button reassignment

Post by Malakith »

Hi All,

I normally use Mouse 2 / 3, pressing down on the mouse wheel. As a push to talk button for voice chat programs.

However I cant seem to find a way to unassign it in Evocron Mercenary which causes no end of problems when it seems to shoot all my weapons, normally at the worst possible time.

Anyone have any suggestions? Or am I just missing something obvious.

Well that sucks, If i map anything to a keyboard key using the profiling software it will just type that key if im talking and in anything like a browser etc, which is why I use mouse 3 to begin with.

I would be interested to know as well, if there's a way to set mouse 3-4-5 to a function in-game.
They seem to act at the controller setup as if I was clicking the fist mouse button, and the configuration just does not register.
Maybe a config file?

I would not like to install any third party programs either (in answer the posted link)

I use a typical 3 button mouse and would love to reassign the mousewheel button and right mouse button. But all they do is make a clicky noise when trying to assign them. Nothing happens. Is this by design or am I in need of certain drivers for the mouse? Its just a little old Logitech.
