Hey I was wondering if there was any cool ship mods out there for this game?

I think it be cool to be piloting the Normandy from mass effect in this game.

Any out or in the works? Any where to make suggestions?

Seems an easy model and so much fun! You can download finished model here and If modeller has permission, you can easily adapt her for Mercenary.Looks like a good start modelling with Max...

I was wondering what ratio do I have to scale models to? I'm trying to import models from sketchup and have succeeded in making a .X file however it might be masive compared to other ships.

Thanks, and BTW I'm not new I've been playing EL and EM for a while mostly SP but I go on babylon-9's server (I think thats what its called) from time to time.

Another question, how do servers handle gamers with different ship models, unless the game imports the models from the server or the models have no collisions....

Imports models from your hard drive. You are playing with new ships in Mp too, but your friend sees ships as normal If he isn't using that mod. Collisions, everything is fine, If your scale of the ships are ok...

I keep getting errors when trying to run the game with the new models, eg runtime memory ect. they're 100x smaller and optimised.

It might be the file size ( 5mb) but it seems exporting as a .x file increases their size drasticaly (original is 2mb). My computer can handle alot more than this on other games, I can run Crysis.

Btw I'm using a heavily (deleted a lot of objects/polys) optimised version of this ((http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ ... revstart=0)

I foresee a problem in the near future if my typing does not improve!!

Pilots, please do not confuse Dreagar with Dengar. One of us is dangerous and the other one - well not sure yet!!!

Mind you if Dreagar joins BA, then Bossk will have to mind his typos!!!!

Btw I did not steal your name, Dengar; I've called myself Dreagar for years, and no I'm not an alien so I'm not joining BA.

Well I posted a link to the ship model and I'll post my edited version of it and my skp-X file conversion program. If anyone can find a way to import ships like the destiny in game my modding might be able to continue ^^

It's a project called Evochron Gate, it's intended to be like Stargate and Evochron combined.
