Hey all. Just gonna toss down something I've been thinking about lately.
Why is it in Evochron there are only system's? Why aren't there Region's and why isn't there some separation between the two?
I think something that would ultimately make the area definition in the Evochron quadrant much more personable is if there were region's then systems then sectors.
Now as I've probably said in previous thread's I've made it would be awesome new regions and such could be defined/controlled even if just from the server operator.

Well... the Evochron Universe is split into territories controlled by different factions (Vonari, Alliance, Richton, Federation and Alliance[Sol]) and the riftspace also comes in my mind as a "region".
Are those things the kind of region you were thinking about? If not then I would also be interested in what you mean exactly.

I know Pearl have atleast 3 sector. Serene, Tranquil and unknown. Those are the 3 that I know off. So you do have your Regoion and sector Vice call it Systerm for Pearl then have small sector like Serene, Tranquil and unknown + more that I have not explore.

Yeah I remembered that after I made the post. But I actually would like to see that territory/region system become dynamic and more to the point become part of the clan territory system. It would be awesome if clan territory wasn't based solely around sectors and one "sector's" influence could actually grow far beyond the sector's bounds.
Also when I use the term region's I mean 3-4 systems clearly defined in a region. If it were made dynamic it could be setup that various pushes and pulls could have an impact on what systems fall within what region's.
I dunno I guess it kinda annoys me that you have games like this where for the most part territory is pretty static. Even with the new clan territory system that doesn't actually mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Heck it doesn't actually mean anything what so ever for someone who isn't clan tagged.
