Help with energy pot in pearl

So I found a cave and use the trackerbeam to pick it up. I learn that I can not turn off the trackerbeam nor can I go faster the 5k.


Need a clue as to where I should go and what do I use for.

Hi PandaBear, there may be another device nearby that you can put the Pod into to complete the operation.

Thanks. Lastnight I been all over the place and even destroyed all the rock near by. Think I head on to 1 of the gas place that I saw something like a energy station with out any station with in it sector. Too bad it 3 sector away and I can not jump

Hmm what am I missing here?

I search the whole cave after and saw nothing else. Howevevr I can pick the energy pot up again and delivered it a second time, but nothing else.

Is this 1 of those thing from the older quest thing that just got left here or there more to it then what I saw?

Check your fuel gauge before and after delivering. At least that is how it worked in Legends. Also the energy pod can be used to play games in multiplay with your friends like capture the flag. You can make up your own rules and try to steal the energy pod with your tractor beam from your opponent....

*enter sarcasm mode* Yeah the amount of fuel you get really makes the trip worthwhile. *exit sarcasm mode* I would only have to use it 50 times or so to replace the fuel I used exploring the cave.

At least it is something different and some of the other goodies in the cave aren't too bad. I can't figure out how to get to one of them though.
