Server Hostname rather than IP? (line 501)

Is there a way to use a hostname rather than a external IP for an EM server?

I use dyndns to update my Domains it would be rocking if I did not have to touch it once it was up. I know its kindof trival and my address may only update once a month.

I stood up a dedicated server (bia-korea.com) on my 200Mbps service provider. Come check it out. ;)

Have you actually tried to "join" via the hostname? I don't know if its actually possible or not but I can't honestly imagine that it wouldn't let you.

As long as the client-hosted sessions were on a LAN. I would like to use a Domain name rather than the external IP.

Not a big deal either way. It works as is.

@TGS "Host/Join IP" only allows you to either host a client game or Join an IP. (If thats what you are talking about)

Unless I am missing something, the only other option I see is to join an Internet game.

Ah so it does. Usually those sort of inputs don't actually stop you from putting in a hostname but that actually does.
