Hi guys,
just an intro as a newbie here, needed a break from EVE ( hope that word isnt blasphomy here ) , and rejected that waste of effort called STO, only to find this little gem by chance , whilst tralling the wastelands called the net ......
see ya all in the cosmos.
"Welcome Aboard Grineder and Crashdown".....Looking forward to seeing you two in MP

Welcome aboad, good sir. Your Evochron uniform is under the mattress and your medals are in the locker. You are required to provide your own towel and copy of the Hitchikers Guide. Should you meet any accountants or advertising execs on your travels feel free to give them a round or two up their exhaust pipe.
"LOL....Yuppers, 2 rounds up the (tail) exhaust pipe is a Proper hello on this side of the pond too!":D:D

I looked at Eve 10,000 years ago. What put me off at the time was that Campers were camping out the Noobs, in essence ruining the game for them. As a result I never joined. Have things like this changed there since for the better?

*Snork*...giggle...ah, no, griefing and scamming is alive and well in EVE, and even encouraged by the developers. Combined with the fact that there is only one server, you have to put up with that in order to "play"(?).
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
One of the great things with most pilots here is that they are very helpful to rookies.
However, the gathering at the station "I don't remember" when EL server was closing was a lot of fun.
I joined and on the scene I asked what we were all doing here together.
The answer was clear: "This is a no rule server" came back together with a bunch of missiles. :P
I learned a lot about fighting with these experienced guy's. If you wanna improve, fight someone thats better than you.
See ya out there!
