I just wanted to express my thanks for mercenary. It is proof of what a small independent developer can do. I am hoping that in time independent games will bring these huge companies back to earth. I accidentally bought two copies, but that's okay I might need that key soon. I look forward to supporting the continued development of Evochron. Thank you SW3DG.

Another great game
I haven't posted much thanks yet on the forum, but now that I've played for a few hours I can easily proclaim my thorough appreciation for Evochron Mercenary!
My favourite parts of the game so far are the new cities, water, and atmospheric effects. I also took a quick look at designing my own ship. The ability to customize crew slots balanced with equipment slots makes it very interesting and a great way to specialize (role-play, in a way) my ship for the tasks I most enjoy. Yahoo, money well spent, and money well deserved for Vice
I worry that in-game credits might be too easily obtained and thus taking the struggle out of progression, but I'll see how the next 10-20 hours of game-time go. Multiplayer is a blast

Another great game
I haven't downloaded the game yet, since I'm setting up a new rig, but from what little I've seen so far it looks impressive and I'm sure I won't be dissappointed.
This is how gaming computing began, with loners and small groups working out of their bedrooms. Some great games were made in days of yore, among them Elite. Now the big companies have taken over and no longer cater for the serious simmer, it's all about making money. Luckily Indies are stepping in to remake the games of yesteryear which were all about fun and game content, as opposed to mindless fragging. Remember Elite when it was just Vector graphics? I always hoped that one day we would see it in 3D as we're now doing. Long may the trend continue.
