Also, is there sny way to detect the beacon other than visually? I have had a couple on planets show up on radar.

Ok, now i am trying to get to riftspace for the shortcut to vonari, any help fending the wormhole at the cener of orion lambda emerald etc?

Ok, i found it, but now i am having trouble with the one on the dark side of the planet in the sierra system. Seriously though, no other way to find them than visually? Are they loaded with jamming equipment or something? Found it too.

The wormhole to riftspace eludes me. I have guestimated the coordinates the be around SX:-1975 SY:67 SZ:-1675

I believe my x & z estimates may be a bit low, any help?

Well, to quote Thomas Dolby:

You came close
close but no cigar
You didn't miss by far
You know you came this close
close but no cigar

That said, I sent you an U2U with the coords.

LOL, you where quite of. Blackthorne beat me to it giving you the coordinates that is. All you had to do is take the average of the 2 most extreme systems coordinates and you would have been within 2 sectors of the coords. I do not get how you even came up with a Y coordinate since that one is not involved in the average when you follow the clue given by the last beacon....:P:P:P:P:P

Mh, it's been a while, but from what I recall that's pretty much it. The carrier contains some goodies (and IIRC they even respawn), and the device has several destinations available.

Apart from that, there's nothing too hot there. I recall there was a small moon around, but I didn't try to mine it, so I can't tell you if that one yielded something out of the ordinary. Even if, Andromeda is the most remote system by far, merely returning there is still one hell of a trip.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Is any of it inhabited though?

 Offhand, I would've said, "No" ... but I've been reading the backstory over at the SW3DG Wiki and now I wouldn't guarantee anything or any place is totally uninhabited.

I checked out the wiki some too. Some of the things mentioned in the history i have found, other things i shall now endeavor to find. For instance *possible spoiler* the history mentions someone discovering a wormhole to riftspace near planet thuban.

Any chance i could get a hint as to where to find the andromeda hidden planet? Space is big! & andromeda is super empty. I assume it's less than 100 sectors away, right?

I think you will see the Planet on your way to the Center of the Galaxy where the wormhole is...Also try exploring around the carier with your tractor beam.....you might pick up some other surprizes..if you have empty cargo space that is....and I'm not talking about what is in the carier......:P

Wait, are we talking about the small single planetoid in the system or is there another one way off? (as in like 10-100 sectors away)

There is a Planet with a ring of water vapor around it.......;) and I think it is within 10 to twenty sectors. I'm not sure, because it has been a while for me since I have been there....but I thought it was visible form close to the Wormhole in the center of the Galaxy.....;)
