Civilian Wingmen in Military Warzones

Hello All,

If this has already been answered please forgive me, new to the game but long time fan of space sims. My question is simply I'm trying to increase my military rank. I hired 12 fleet civilian fleet ships and jumped into Cerulean War Zone. When I do the civilian ships disappear (even on my F3 news screen) and I can't find them. Is there a particular reason for that? I bought the latest version of Evochron Legends. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Their loyalty stops at the entrance to warzones. They won't follow you into military conflicts. They will only operate in civilian space. Military rank is effectively exclusive to your individual actions and performance, although you often have support from other military ships in the area.

Hi Rogue420, LOL...welcome to the game and forum. Yes Civilian AI's are scared to sacrifce themselves...for a newbie so at the slightest chalange they take your money and run....actualy not only newbies....LOL...Hope to see you out there......

Ok, cool. I had the same problem. I had a whole fleet & jumped into a warzone & they ditched me.

Wait until you swap your civvy ship for a military one ... your whole crew will ditch you!

Serves them right for not paying you enough when you don't transport them in a timely manner according to their opinion of what relatively constitute a timely manner if their payment drops to zero i'll drop them of in a Warzone....LOL.....

that's why i don't transport people, they don't pay enough for it to be worth the time unless i'm already planing to head for that area of space...
