Press Space Bar (default) to engage inertial while at max speed inside the gate. The enemy can't touch you. Don't slow down 'till you're out of danger.

Thanks chaps.

Been doing the inertial soopa speed thing in the jumps.

Finding life a little easier in some of teh other systems and feeling a little more confident with more expansive exploring.

Got a little panicked when returning from one mission when the single red dot called in about 5 or 6 of his mates and missiles were going everywhere. ThenI realised that at least half of them were from friendly greens

Fun Ha!

hat is agood thing, if there are greens in th area they will protect you from reds. i find it mildly annoying, i just start to play with th red when a missile his it from behind and... boom

Another way to fight of reds is flying backwards on inertia so your facing the reds chasing you and if you have an excalibur pack you can kill the reds while moving backwards. If you move at a speed of around 750 to 800 reds will slowly catch up with you and you can take them and their missiles out easy with your guns and cannons flying backwards while your excalibur is reloading and then finish any reds left of with your excalibur. Don't forget to use counter measures....remember they are free with every refuel.....and remmember to look to your moving direction with your rear view camera once in a while cause you might be heading for an astroid, planet or other object on a collision course...LOL....

I think they are both correct depending on the relative context they are being used in. Situation Awareness refers to a specific situation you find your self in and your awareness of that specific situation. And Situational Awareness is more a general term when you are talking in general about Awareness of many different situations you might find your self in....hence, that is why I called them relatives...LOL...
