Mission direction failure
I have run through the Training sims 3x...I can't find where to go for the Planet Landing Training.... Did it the 1st time, thats it out of 3 tries.
There is nothing in the training, or the controls menu that I can find that tells you which way to go...It is a BIG universe!
It seems I'm the only one with this problem, besides being a Jar-Headed Postal worker.
Please someone... give me some direction, or tell me where to go.
Both puns intended,
Thank you for your Support.

First, lets make sure you're referring to the correct game. Are you playing Renegades, but referring to a training option in Legends?

Just downloaded Revolution demo today, nothing else.
I decided not to just buy a game on advice of others, and actually play the demo 1st.
I was doing the trainer, after leaving the Station training part...heading to the planet landing training... there is no Icon, or Waypoint, or anything that I could use as a reference to guide me to the "Planet Landing at the top of the city"
I zoomed in on the nav plot, found nothing that would guide me.
I have played all the star wars flight combat games, Dark Star, X3 reunion, Halo titiles, Fear and expansion, Fall out 3, Farcry 1,2, Hitman triolgy...never had any problem Navigating in any of those.
And I was the first "kid" on my block to take out a "Corrillian Ship" with an X-wing.
Is there something that might be turned off? I made no changes to controls or options except for the resolution, then 2 tries to get it back to Optimized.
I really like the way the game looks and shoots so far... but still haven't made it out of the training.
Seems like I "special" kind of problem no one else shares.
Thank you for your support.

Sounds like you're describing one of the open space based games, however, there is a game called Evochron Renegades and Star Wraith IV: Reviction, neither has Revolution in the title.Just downloaded Revolution demo today, nothing else.
For Evochron, there will be either a red or green series of boxes on the HUD that will guide you to a city. You certainly don't have to follow it and can take your own path, just flying to the '+' indictor on the nav map on the planet's surface at your own pace and course.
Navigation is open space can be a bit daunting at first, but it sounds like you're getting the basics down. If you would like additional information, check out the Legends strategy guide: http://www.starwraith.com/evochronlegen ... lguide.htm (Flight and Navigation section)

Sorry sir, it was Renegades, not revolution...
Looking for red or green boxes, like the ones used to guide me into the Station during training?
Then look for + on the planet surface on the nav map.
Thank you.

Yes, it's the same guide box. However, for planets, it will guide you around the planet at a high altitude until your approach angle nears a sharp decline toward the city. So watch for it out toward the horizon as you approach a planet. And yes, you should see a green '+' marker showing where the city is. You can flip the nav map to 'Rear View' to check the Y coordinate elevation, then return to 'Top View' to see it again from an overhead view.

Sir, is there a keyboard key for rearview w/o going to the Nav
screen, anfd does the Y coordinate represent "relative elevation" for lack of a better term?

Y is elevation as measured from the galactic equator at Y = 0.

The rear view I was referring to is for the nav map and is in the nav console. It is a button in the console itself on the right side. You can't access the button with the console closed, but if it is closed, you can't see the nav map anyway. Yes, the Y coordinate indicates the relative elevation of a point in space, relative to the center of the sector of space you are in (and to you position when you compare it with the green dot indicating your ship).Sir, is there a keyboard key for rearview w/o going to the Nav
screen, anfd does the Y coordinate represent "relative elevation" for lack of a better term?
