GIANT ASTEROID (AGATE SYSTEM).....

Hola Seniors!.....

Most of the giant asteroids I have found have a nice excavated cave for, say.....stowing your loot, or maybe hiding from the bad guys after you offed their redneck next of kin in virtuous combat. The Agate system (which I just found--awesome!) has one such relic of millenia gone by, but no freshly chiseled port of entry for weary travellers such as myself. Am I missing something, or is this mega-boulder just there for the ambiance?:D

Oh yeah, Agate =). Are some nice secrets around there, including some unique gameplay thingies.

If I remember correctly, though, there should be an entry. I don't think I could create a asteroid without an entry back in the days I created that, although Vice might've changed it later.

Now I swear this thing has a circular bulge both top and bottom with unnatural looking seams that connect it to the rest of the asteroid. It also has that blue square target that indicates a station; but, I'm still not findinf any form of entryway. Does anybody know for sure if this one has a secret cavern like the rest?:o

Yes, there is an entry. I created the system and it surroundings and when I did, there was - and to the best of my knowledge still is no - way to create such an asteroid without the cave, unless I loaded an additional model.

There is a station inside, that I do remember. I think approaching the asteroid with a 90 heading as Eclipse suggested should allow you to enter. While I designed the cave to be slightly 'higher' than the usual caves in Evochron, I can't remember any unnatural things on my PC.

Sure is an entry. I found it no bother. It's stuck at the end of the roid. When I jumped to it, it was right in front of me!

Yup ... the dark blue was (I believe) done deliberately. It was, after all, a spoiler.
