In my dreams, I am designing my ideal Space MMO game... and in the meantime, I play what's out.
I'll throw a couple missiles your way, but first... where to start? I think I'm still working with demo, but it seems I've been playing it for quite some time. So, I will buy this game, join some ranks and hopefully you guys can teach me how to make $$$. I really hate spending a lot of time making the $$$. I'd much rather throw missiles.
Asides, where do I begin my MP journey? I play at all hours, due to a strange schedule.
Unless you start MP with a profile first played in single-player, you'll be starting in Sapphire (same as you would in SP). Log on and ask about mining ... it's one of the easiest ways to begin making lots of money. Or, pay attention to the object directly in front of you as you start a new profile ... because, at journey's end, you'll find routes to some very profitable star systems.
LOL....Gorf....Welcome to the game and forum Harpo, hope to see you out there. If your looking for adventure then start with getting a mining tractor beam and mine as much platinum and or diamonds, discard all other minerals, as you can carry in your cargo bays in Saphire and sell them at Station Rivoch for max profit. Then when you have enough cash accumulated buy your self a decent 5 cargo bay ship and a decent size fuel tank 2400 gallons. Equip it with some decent equipment and weapons and then do the 2 beacon quests in MP and others will be able to help and guide you if you get stuck with any of the riddles of the quest...have fun and enjoy...
