 You're always more than welcome. As is anyone else interested in ridding the galaxy of endless Vonari invasions. Or any other kind of invasions, for that matter. We also help, whenever we can, pilots who wish to explore ... wish to get rich ... wish to ... to ... to also give us a good bit of help whenever we need it (which, admittedly, is often).

I broke my "combat chair"!:(
Somehow my shirt sleeve got caught on the throttle and ripped the box from the chair arm! Otherwise I would have hung around.
I hope to get it fixed today!

Hope you get it fixed soon, and hope to see you more often in MP, Although you seem to be more talkative as B5, then when you are in MP....LOL...;)

Got the chair fixed. But I use the chair from the middle of the living room so I can play on my big screen TV. Using the keyboard from the middle of the room is not practical, so chatting is difficult.
I do my best...

maybe get a mic and use the BA teramspeak server, or a wireless keyboard?

I have a mic & a wireless keyboard.
Unfortunately the wireless keyboard dis-appeared during the last move. I know it's here somewhere, but I can't find it!
As for TS, it never seemed to work well for me.:)

 Maybe Vice will add a comm officer to the crew ... at 100%, it might work (or not).

LOL..Marv, a Comm officer at 100% loyalty and skill would be kind of a Muchtalk and would drown the communication lines with meaningless conversations.............relatively............ I think......LOL......:P:P:P:P:P

Seems like our clan growed up of a member..... let's see if he'll post here anytime soon.

Marvin was the fisrt to make acquaintance and by helping him in a MP session he granted us his favours.

On a side note, everyone is welcome to join the Independent Merchants Guild; all you have to do is just ask and get in touch with us.
It is this time again and a lady pilot showed intention of being part of our guild in space.

You only have to post here saying hello and that you're joining, stating why is a plus and be sure to write your callsign. Then add the [IM] tag in game and you're set.

Welcome aboard.

 I don't know why there are so many complaints about how rough it is to fly in multiplayer. Seemed to me, today, like it was only rough on the Vonari. The kill ratio was a sight to behold, thanks to the concerted effort of all pilots (Guilded and otherwise) to cooperate with one another.

;) Maybe it was due to the fact Bravehart led the pack and nobody dared to get on Yoda's bad side.

Three days. Three whole days working to build up territory for the Independent Merchants Guild. Fetching lost cargo containers and delivering (without losing) cargo to the Navy and other friendly groups. All while dodging ever-increasing hostile forces intent on turning my ship into space dust. Occasionally even going so far as to volunteer for patrol duty, in hopes of reducing the number of hostiles aiming their missiles my way.

I even spent good credits building the otherwise missing Sirius Cybernetics corporation. Where the original building went I have absolutely no idea. But one exists now … or, at least, did exist as of last night.

But IM’s foothold in the Sirius sector dwindles as I type. Why? Well, as I was informed elsewhere in this forum, it’s because the Mercenary universe is a lot like Nevada (how ironic is that?). Soon to be littered with ramshackle buildings falling apart from disuse and disrepair. Because, without constant attention, territory taken eventually becomes a territorial ghost town. Reverting back to free space … kicking off something akin to the Oklahoma Land Rush of 1863 … or the California Gold Rush of 1849.

Not that I planned to abandon Sirius … handing it back to the elements and hostile forces that still insist I don’t belong there. Oh, no. Granted, I did leave the sector, in search of adventure in other systems. But Sirius was my home! I am, as clearly imprinted on my backside, “Another Fine Product of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation.

I guess what they say is true. You can never go home.

 I try to keep the BA "claim-jumpers" at the other end of the galaxy ... working with me instead of against me. Right now, it's a high-ranking guy named Spiker who's the real threat.

Well, territory I fear will be a sort of myth for us little factions. We don't have the online presence to keep then I'm afraid.

 I did it all by myself. At first, anyway. But today I got help from our new IM pilot, Starbuck. So, the "ghost town" has been revived for at least another day. Thanks, Starbuck. And, btw, here's a shot (edited to preserve location) of what I saw while you watched me build a couple of structures:

:o Maintaining a sector so as to keep it from becoming a ghost town isn't easy. Luckily, there were plenty of delivery contracts today ... they go a lot quicker than the kind where you're required to kill off a half-dozen rebels (all of whom seem to have friends and relatives nearby). And, with a little cooperation from UE and BA, we found a wrecked ship.
