impressions of now \'competant\' one

I love that term 'competant'. I feel like I've been at the space mental health board and declared I can actually pilot a ship. I've been hanging around Rucker for a while and took a side trip into Virgo. I discovered the hidden planet, bought a Fusion laser and Phantom cannon, and upgraded my ship to a Centurion class. I noted that you can actually get a Leviathon if you have the bucks. You can also buy Fulcrum torpedos. Now I'm back in Rucker mining platinum and completing some missions for the Navy. I'm not sure how I managed to get a 40% reputation with them. Usually the guild and rebels are trying to send me to hell. I finally managed to get a dedicated Science, Engineer and Weapons officer with high loyalties. I realize it may be a bit early to be piloting a Centurion, but I got it almost as fast and manuverable as the Renegade and sacrificed a couple of bays. Thanks for all comments. If you want to offer any suggestions on my next space moves feel free!

That military career.. dang. I want to fly an Evoch but the Vonari battles are really tough. :/ Where's the Alliance? I need reinforcements! Who's the fool that decided to bring a Flarebeam to a Banshee fight?

they are not that tough once you get used to it,
pack yourself with exodui and speed past on your first run, use your missiles to take out bomber and interceptor ships, and make sure you keep your distance from the Vonari capital while you dogfight the vonari fighters.

Hopefully you know how to take out a vonari capital, I'm not spoiling all the fun

As you're working in Rucker why not go into Lost Rucker and make more money?

There are 2 way to find LostR:

1. Spoiler from MP or Forum.
2. Evochron Renegades beacon quest.

3th way is explore but so difficult to find such a systems, takes so much time generally...

@Jeremy: If there is more reinforcement there, there will be no game out there. I know some fighters that find Vonari wars so easy...

Warsign, I can handle the Vonari, it's just that the missions take waaaaay longer to complete than normal anti-human missions. : P So basically the problem is my impatience, not my skills.

there is a mod ship that looks like the batplane , I believe warsign made it, its called the eclipse or verbosity or sommin'

I gave your name to a famous ship,you are the only one pilot like this. Other ships except Raptor were my design. Every time I saw that ship, I thought she was built for my leader. I couldn't create another one for you, I don't even think about it! :cool

There are military career missions that take very short time and can speed up your career. You just have to choose your missions carefully. Also the better your skills get the faster you will complete missions to. And it also depends on the kind of weapons you use to complete missions faster. There is a way to complete a 7 waypoint mission in a Warzone in under 5 minutes using the right equipment and technique....
