Well, in this case, everybody would be a rabbit. No Tigers allowed!
I just think if you reduce the ship & loadout to the most basic, you'll likely get more players. Even "noobs" could throw their hat in the ring!
So what's the most powerful weapon available in Sapphire?
Everybody gets the same gun. I thought missiles were already out anyway.

Eclipse would be in the same ship w/the same cannons as everyone else. Only his skill will make any difference.

That would be a neat idea: everyone required to load out their ship from what is available in Sapphire only. Flying a Pulsar or Raven again would also be cool. I like to go back and fly those ships every now and then

I say the fight in the high energy neb in saph .....run what you brung ,keep it simple,

just getting more than 4 players to show up is hard enough

Well, last evening there were five of us on. Some newbies like Ettere, Dogmeat, Strider and than SkyKing and me.....no sign of Romulan amazingly lucky puppies....LOL....

Actually, the Romulan had been there earlier in the day and had already given the noobs their initiation.
Unfortunately, there were no protectors around.

The most powerful cannon should be limited to the "StarGuard"
as that is the most you can get in Sapphire.
Not sure about starting on a planet surface tho.
