FULCRUM TORPEDOES.....
O.K., They are awesome.....howevever,.....
Two questions for the more learned of the bunch. One; how do you escape destroying your own ship without hitting jump drive--I mean, so you can enjoy the show. Nothing like a good kill to make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Secondly; Are there any missions that pay enough to make it worth blowing 5-6 million at a wack? It's not that I can't come up with the dough, but the mission needs to put some cash back in my pocket--from the business end of things.

Try firing the torpedo as you move away from the target.
In my opinion this works best when using the afterburner in addition to your reverse thrusters.

You can also use your jumpdrive to micro jump away after firing the torpedo. And of course Fulcrum torpedos are there for all the reasons Marvin mentioned....LOL...Originally posted by Scavenger4711Yup. That's the best option.Ursprünglich verfasst von EclipseOriginally posted by SHADOW STAR

You can use the residual speed after a jump to the target to fire and move away in inertial.... just like you do with normal missiles when doing strafing runs on capital ships.

One thing about FTs; they blow up everything in their vicinity, both friendly, and unfriendly - the friendly (human) can very quickly turn extremely unfriendly after getting hit by a few FT blasts!
And mad cat-
