So I just got my demo registered and was looking forward to finding some online people just to see what this thing does in Multiplayer.. I found two servers, Babylon 5 and Jet. Neither of them had anyone active on them at all.
What sort of timezone am I looking for here to find people? If nothing else then to just have someone to talk with while I learn how to fly this thing. Is the predominant population European type time zones or American time zones?
Perhaps is the time of day...?

I saw the chat loq where/when you joined. For some reason, yesterday was the slowest day in recorded history!
I myself was occupied all day, which is unusual, otherwise I would have greeted you.
The server runs 24/7, God willing. and we have players from all over the world. This is not an MMO so 4-6 players is the norm altho 14-16 has been known to happen.
Remember too, that everything you do in MP counts the same as SP, so if you play, you might as well play in MP and wait for someone to come along.
I'll keep an eye out for your next visit!

I want to further emphasize MM's line here:
Remember too, that everything you do in MP counts the same as SP, so if you play, you might as well play in MP and wait for someone to come along.
If you have interest in joining others in multiplayer, or even just want to chat with others while you play on your own, join multiplayer and play there. You can participate with other players or just treat it like a single player game with a built in instant messaging system to other players. The more you are on, the more players you will encounter. Multiplayer is whatever the players make of it. There can be peak times and light times. But with more persistently playing online, rather than staying offline, the more populated the server will be.
