Multiplayer??

Ok... so.. I feel like a bit of a dope asking this question... but... how do I speak to others on MP. I logged on, someone said "hello" and I had no idea how to respond. I don't see anything about it in the guide.

... or, you could forget to press "Enter" and just type "hello" ... promptly turning off your HUD.

Or forget to press "Enter" and press "Shift" to make a capital letter and end up hitting the afterburner. I sometimes do this in the midst of frantic communications during a battle, and get quite a fright from the sudden noise of the afterburner! At least the afterburner is less dangerous than, say, hitting the missile launch key!:D

Yes, I keep the default settings but I just transfer them to my X52 profile buttons...

I only found it necessary to re-map one key: F2. Fool me once, shame on you (Vice). Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and the key gets re-mapped.

I remapped ~,tab,caps lock,L shift and ctl to be: nearest hostile, augment front shield, Reverse thrust,Aft burner, and L ctl replaced ~ key as it interfered with another computer function until replaced.

I did these as those are the keys in the left hand side of my laptop and easy to get to.
