Hey all new pilot checking in!

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself! So far during the first few hours of gameplay I managed to blow myself up by crashing into a moon head first, hyper jumping straight into an asteroid, and I accidentally rammed head on into the ship that was trying to trade with me. Awesome game!

I do have one question though... the first contract I took was a "find the lost item" mission. I went to the little blue waypoint(at least I'm assuming thats what it is) on the map next to the asteroid field but there is nothing anywhere around there. Am I looking in the wrong place?!

Hello bigdrip681, you have to look around on the lost item missions after you get to the mission way point. watch your radar for a new whitish blip which is usually the item you are looking for. Welcome to the forum and the Sim. See you out there sometime.

I thought the blip he is looking for is pink.

Anyway, one of those colors, look for it. Welcome to EL and the forums!

LMAO! A whiteish or pink blip on my radar.... check! Thanks one of these days I might actually complete my first contract without doing something dumb and blowing myself up hahahaha... I'm such an amazing pilot!

It's purple on my screen. And remapping the hyperjump key will be something you'll never regret.

"Welcome Aboard bigdrip681".....here is a SPOILER Picture of a lost item. Note the purple blip on the Radar screen....that is what will show up just before or as you arrive at the nav point....don't confuse it with a Jump Gate as they too show up purple on Radar. Have Fun Flying in Legends

Yup ... that's exactly what mine looks like, too. Only, they don't always show up right in front of you ... usually, they're off to one side or the other (possibly even behind you) and you must turn to intercept them.

hehe... thanks guys! I officially completed my first contract and got a measley 5500 credits for it.... bleh... Anyway the more I play this game the more I like it! Thanks now I'm gonna go try and win a race

Definitely purple.

Welcome to the game Bigdrip! I highly recommend you jump into multiplayer. Even if you're not too confident with your piloting skills it's really good fun. Most of the other pilots are very friendly and will give you lots of advice and useful tips. Server Babylon 5 is one of the most frequented.

Hi bigdrip681, welcome to the game and forum, ROFL you can make the blip any color you like with the customization kit I believe...now if I could only make it change randomly in all colors of the rainbow as I get closer or further away from the lost Item..I think mine is a blueish purple at the moment......

Also I like cleaning roids missions. Really fun in MP as well.

If you see shining, brand new roids out there in space, be sure that all have been cleaned by me

I was wondering what those shiny stones I recently found were.....now the roids with platinum and diamonds are easy to spot....LOL....
