Today i stumbled on this / these game(s). I must say, it looks very interesting.
Im not sure wich of the offered games would suit me best.
I think EL would a good choice.
I've read each games summary but it left me quite confused.
I used to play jumpgate quite alot back in the day and suspect EL would be somewhat similair.
If i am not mistaken, the flying / combat will be very diffrent but im kinda looking forward to that.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction regarding which game would suit me best.
I've read it again and i did miss the part where it said
Legends includes a much higher level of graphics, so it generally requires a more powerful system to run well than Renegades does. Improvements to graphics include completely new stations with specular and illumination effects, new 3D cockpit, much higher planet terrain detail (including plants), and new high resolution textures. Players with moderate to high end systems looking for the latest Evochron game with the highest level of graphics/detail will likely prefer this game.
Your choice would depend on whether you wanted to indulge in multiplay or single player. You can do single player in all of the games, however, as regards multiplay, EL is the game most played, perhaps the only game played in MP.
You play almost the exact same game in MP and SP. The main difference, of course, is that in MP, you usually have other human pilots to inter react with. Most pilots, in MP, are of the friendly sort. There are a couple who made a habit of attacking newbies. However, if that happens, there are plenty of other pilots who will come to your assistance, "Hector Protectors" as we are called. You can also get lots of game tips in MP, from the other pilots.
The game itself is great, no set story line, do what you want, if you want, and when you want. Land on planets, trade, fight, take contracts, gain rank, both civilian and military, and explore, explore, expore.

I downloaded EL and played the trainer and that already impressed me. Its quite similair to jumpgate but better imho. Combat seems to be faster but generally of the same type.
I'll have to check if my cc is still working cause this just might be the best 24 euros i'll ever spent!

"Welcome Aboard Oldfenster".....EL is the current Favorite and used extensively in MP. Before EL came out a lot of Us Old timers played MP in Evochron Renegades an Excellent Game, but I would recommend "Evochron Legends as the current Favorite". Looking forward to seeing you online in MP
