Sorry for the newb question was just curious, is this universe pregenerated or is there randomness that happens like new uncharted systems and planets being discovered.?

I'm not sure what you mean. The Evochron Universe is pregenerated meaning everything is there and is infinite you can travel and discover the hidden systems...

thanks for the response what i mean is that do new things randomly spawn or new stuff is just addded via updates, hope that clears up my question.

No new things randomly spawn, everything is already there, The Evochron Universe is static everything is always in the same place. Updates to add new stuff to the Evochron Universe would require Vice to modify some of the files for Multiplayer and make those files available to every one for download. With the customization kit You can modify your own Evochron Universe and add to it and change it and customize it but you would have to save the original unmodified Universe file for on line Multiplayer. You will not be able to play multiplayer with your customized Universe file, you can only use it in Single player....

The customizing kit can be downloaded from the main DL page. You don't need to be a computer wiz to modify the EL universe ... basic instructions are in the Readme that comes with the kit and, for guys like me who need additional instruction, you can read up on numerous questions asked (and answered) here:

Your welcome. And, btw, if you want to use a modded universe in MP, you can always host your own server. Assuming, of course, you can find buddies who will install your mod(s) to their version of the game prior to logging in.

Yep, that is another option to run your own server with a modded Universe, but all who want to join your server must have the same modded Universe file available to them and installed in their game file....
