Hey all just got this game a few days ago and enjoying it alot,i like the fact i can go anywhere and do anything i want great game so far.

Thanks for the welcome,just wondering how is mp is it a friendly enviroment or do i need to worry about getting ganked everytime i log in ? im really not into pvp just looking for a few friendly folks to explore space with,

Most of the MP pilots will ask before killing you (lol) but some like the Romulan specialize in picking on new pilots. Over all it is a good environment.

If you want to explore and do not like suprise attacks log unto the MainServer and Safire is a safe zone so no one will attack you as long as you stay in Safire on the Main Server....Babylon5 Server has some Bad Aliens looking for newbies to kill most of them will warn you thou, except for Romulan cause he does not talk and if he does he is not really Romulan...and he will kill newbs without even a warning shot...LOL...

What they forgot to tell you is that Babylon 5 compensates for the occassional "radical" by being the most friendly, helpful server of all. And if you're lucky, the server itself will speak with you and answer questions and offer assistance.
It's a trade-off.

"Welcome Aboard Zabith"...... Babylon 5 is a Great server to log on too for some fun!! there are only a couple of Rouge pilots/Bad Aliens that attack on sight like Maarschalk says. When you see them just open your nav map...F1....left click a few sectors away from where you are and use it as an escape route if you are attacked. Enjoy the game and I'll see you in MP some time

But you need to be quick, BA can find you!! However it is the standard BA welcome, so don't fell picked upon.

Last night we even topped up a newbies coffers with 111k credits, since he happend to be in the same sector as we were doing some contracts. Its not always bad.
