Blank System (no objects!)

been playing the game for 3 days now(single player mode), didn't have any problems and was saving under the same profile(callsign). loaded up the profile few hours ago and i have all my staff (i.e. rank, reputation, weapons, e.t.c) BUT there are NO planets, stations and asteriods etc despite being on the map! anyone have a clue on solving this issue?
[tried reinstalling ER already, hasn't worked]

Odds are, you're simply above or below the galactic ecliptic. Check your SY sector value and compare that with the SY values of the objects you see on the map. You're probably above or below them by 2 sectors or less.

Yep, depending on your jump drive you might have jumped quite a few sectors above or below the Galactic ecliptic....

Checking rear view is a good habit before any jump session also, sometime you find yourself crushed on the planet!
