If this urine extraction continues then you will all be assimilated more than once – and that hurts let me tell you. I know - I’m 8 of 4.
Come out then and assimilate us (me). Try not to stick into cloaking lobbin' nukes next time as probably you'll not get me....and assimilating something nuclearized is quite difficult.

Get your gut out and fight as a borg is supposed to do before calling yourself one. This if you want respect as you plead.....otherwise..... just bug off and get behind your cardbox shield and leave pilots away with their mission.

Not so easy as you're used to?

Well....I guess you're not so good as you say then...

"CardBorg"... ROFL!!!

I vote that from now on, we refer to the Borg as the CardBorg!

Oooooooooooooh – we seem to have hit a raw nerve here. Good, must have missed that one on the first assimilation.

Listen, we care not a jot for your pathetic missions, and your feeble, weak and half-hearted attempts at the Vonari are mere child’s play. And by the way, the Vonari were assimilated light years ago, and they are fully under the control of the collective.

So, because your assimilation was not completed satisfactorily you will be assimilated again, and I have been instructed by the collective to see to it personally. Until then your designation will be ½ of 1. One what we’re not quite sure of though - pizza maybe?

Of course! Why didn't I see the signs? The Vonari are terrible dogfighters, entire fleets are easily obliterated by one plucky fighter, and they seem to have no strategy at all! I should have realized that only the Borg could be pulling the strings!

Wait, didn't the first Borg poster talk about advanced strategies that were to be nothing like we've ever seen? And they lob nukes at our pilots? That's a bit of a let-down if I ever saw one...

Lol! :D

I look forward to meeting these Borg sometime so they can see what the Galactic Accounting Standards Board (GASB) thinks of their antics.

 Good catch, Alpha ... I missed that one (then again, I also missed it when George Lucas had Hans Solo talk about the Kessel Run ... but, in Lucas' defense, there is a half-baked explanation for how you could reference a race as a distance event instead of a timed event).

;) Btw, Madam Borg, in Italy they don't slice pizza ... you eat the whole thing yourself. Other than that, yours was a rather snappy reply. And a sexy avatar, to boot.

I suggest the BORG take "training lessons" from the Romulan!
He has a much better "kill" record than the BORG !

Don’t be such a clever dicky.

Light years may be the measurement of distance but they also have another advantage – they help you determine AGE. The exact number of light years was not specified but from the word ‘years’ you may presume many. I’m sure you can work it out – (rolls eyes upwards and tuts)

The Romulan seems special - the forums would suggest that he has yet to be assimilated. I would like to meet him.

It is as difficult to meet him as it's difficult to meet you. You're always cloacked and running.

He don't use nukes....a point for him.

Come.... enough talk.....come.... I'm not yet assimilated.... if you want respect come out and earn it in a fight; otherwise you can sneak up on me or anyone else forever without getting any.

You'll only be an annoyance just like the Rommie...but he fight way better than you.

As you can see..... as you don't care for our mission, I don't care at all for yours and you too. Enjoy your stay and stay away.;)

Eh? That's one heck of a word salad. I presume you're trying to say how scientists distance in lightyears to help measure age? Actually, they use it to guess how old the image is. For example, if you took a photo of Andromeda from here, the photo would be of Andromeda 2,500,000 years ago. Since Andromeda is 2,500,000 lightyears away, it takes 2,500,000 years for the light to reach us. So all our current pictures are pretty outdated. Andromeda could get destroyed today, and we'd never see it happen until the year 2,500,2010 AD.

Let me make a point (or rather, two)

1. This has absolutely nothing to do with your claim about the Vonari being assimilated "lightyears" ago (and there's no way you could link them)

2. You specifically said "light years ago" which specifically refers to lightyears as a measurement of time, not distance, so stop trying to weasel out of it.

I will be a clever dicky, so there!

BTW, I just discovered I can fire FTs on semi-auto :D:D:D

Hey BORG, "8 of 4"! Seriously, can't you come up with a better avatar than that?
I'm not saying it isn't nice or anything wrong with it, just that it seems out of place for a BORG.
I would think you would look for an old picture of a "real" BORG and use that instead.
Whatever... perhaps that is a treasured picture of your mother before you were assimilated?:)

Oh god. I just realized what 8of4 is. He's a troll. A person who deliberately posts annoying or insulting things to influence others, or just to get attention. By responding to his posts, you "feed" the troll, and encourage him and others.

Cheops, remember how I told you about a normal forum site that was completely overrun and turned into a cesspool? This is how it started.

This? This is barely dirty dishwater. I was talking about other sites that had started like this, just a couple people shaking things up. Now they're such filthy cesspools that discussing their content in public could get you arrested. I'm not kidding.

I see no reason to trash the server. "It" is a non-entity and is provided free at some considerable expense.
I hope you only meant that as a joke.
As the operator of the server, I have made a point of welcoming you and your clan and wished you well.
Any remarks I made in my previous post were made in good fun. If I hit a nerve, I aplogise. Surely, the server did not say anything offensive.
If you feel that Babylon 5 cannot offer you what you need from a server, please let me know how I can improve it.
Sincerely, MMaggio, owner/operator of Babylon 5

All the above is true.

Your initial remarks to us were taken in the spirit they were intended and we did not feel aggrieved. The allegation against the server was made in the same spirit and was merely designed to gauge a reaction.

There is nothing wrong with the Babylon 5 server or it’s operator, and our performance figures whilst online concur with this. We look forward to our next excursion – thank you.
