Stumbled upon a brilliant game.

Hey. Its not every day you stumble upon a game such as this. I've been hoping to find a good space sim for a while now, especially after being told about what Elite was like.

So there I was scrolling through some of the impessive things on Moddb and Evochron Ledgends caught my eye.

Iv not played many games in this genre but ive played some. Freelancer, I tryed X2/X3 could'nt get the hang of ship control and the tutorials on it were too long winded from what I remeber and I tryed classic Jumpgate for 10 mins... I could'nt grasp the controls of that either.

I am a new player and I am enjoying my current experiences, currently im playing the game quite peacefully, i've had a few little run-ins with hostiles, Still getting used to using Inertial in combat but I get the idea on how to use it. but I think I shall earn some more cash before I jump into the deep end with combat and exploration.

Im enjoying every bit of the game so far and I've only been playing for 3 days, So I guess it can only get better.

Ive got the hang of skimming suns for fuel, was happy about this, now I can explore as far as I want without worrying about fuel expenses or even running out.

But overall I think i've found my new favourite game, I personally think its a brilliant example of the capabilitys of independant developers (I really wish they'd get more credit), or in this case developer.

I have 2 Uncles that were elite fans, Im hoping to get them playing too. Possibly a couple of my friends aswell.

Ive also been lurking the forums the past few days, the community itself seams brilliant. So I've finally decided to post and say HI!
