Controllers?????

Just wondering what types of game controllers everyone uses for this?

I just bought EL and I absolutely love it!

I haven't owned a game system since Playstation 1 where Colony Wars & Blast Radius were my favorite games.
I never cared for sports, driving or shooter games so I drifted away from it(gaming), since those seemed to be the most popular types.
Only in the last few years have I become moderately computer savvy and felt ready to search for that style of game that I loved so much.

This is it.

I bought the Sitek X52 Flight Control System... and it's cool. But I think I may have gone a little overboard. What do you think?

lol the saitek x52 is a favourite controller round here ( though not required). welcome to evochron

Just about everyone here uses an X-52, or X-45. I own an X-52, but don't use it except for FSX. I prefer my X360 gamepad for EL. Now if you really want to go overboard combine your X-52 with a TrackIR.

believe it or not, i use standard keyboard and mouse for the game right now, would like to get the avaition system from saitek as soon as a save up some $ but down the road, i would like make a setup with a chair, controls, and screen like this: http://www.home-designing.com/wp-conten ... /10/11.jpg

I'm seriously though thinking of getting ATIs HD5870 for the triple head support, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed Nvidias new Ferma will have it also. ALthough I don't think EL supports it?

Hi atomicto, welcome to the Game and Forum. Yep, I use an X52 with Track IR Pro 4.0...and I would not play Legends without them....LOL...

Track IR 5's 6DOF (six degrees of freedom) is sweet on EL. I like to sit back from the screen to give me more cockpit viewing space.
