Oh tron takes me back to my childhood even though the graphics were cheesy they created a movie revolution that culminates with some of the best cgi moves around.

If you want to blame Jeff Bridges for all the cheesy cgi movies out there feel free as it is your choice to blame whomever you please(I have heard that avatar is excellent but it goes without saying you can't please everyone.)

Hurray for Tron and the Last Starfighter btw. Two movies that had the most CGI ever... and still managed to look decent.

I think I have Tron for a game console, not a PC. I have hundreds of game cartridges for Atari, Nintendo & Playstation.
I would have to look for it.
I will get some time over the New Year holidays and look for it.

Tron2.0 came out for PC a few years ago, it was mainly an fps, but had some good 'bike' mini games.

Also Tron evolution comes out soon, it's a game that will span the 25 years between the first Tron and Tron Legacy

Well, I looked it up on Wickipedia and there is no reference to a home console game. Maybe I'm just mistaken. It could happen you know...

While there are three characters in the movie trailer there are only 2 actors, one of them is Jeff Bridges, who was in the original.

I love him, his playing is outstanding.
Last I saw him in IRONMAN the movie. And today I saw IRONMAN 2's posters in theatre but he is not playing out there because he died in first movie, BAM!

Nope, MM, not wrong. Originally was a stand-up arcade, was ported down to, I think, Intellivision. Wikipedia notes Discs of Tron, the arcade sequel having only the Disc duel, as being on Intellivision, but I remember having the full thing...light cycles, MCP (was a Breakout style mini game), etc. If it wasn't on Intellivision, it had to have been on C-64/Amiga; by that time, my Atari Classic (I refuse to call them 2600s...that was tacked on later, after the 5200, and was also a marketing ploy toward phreakers) was long dead and I'd moved on to computing/computer based gaming (MUDs, for the most part).

I *absolutely* remember it, but I can't find *any* info online about it!

Well, I still can't find it, but I did find out that the original arcade game is available on XBox360 Live, which is pretty cool, IMO.

there was an intellivision game "tron: deadly discs" that I used to play for hours when I was a kid.... found a youtube video of it in action:
