Am having difficulty trying to find Deneb system, I looked over the nav map and it shows Aquila connected to Deneb yet there is no gate access I can find.

You get to Deneb via Alpha Centari.

If you look your NAV map w/o zooming it, couldn't see the gates. Use your mouse wheel and zoom in and zoom out. If gate so close the stations, you can't see it without zooming.

Aquila>AC> Denep is the road, you can see it on your "quadrant map".
While you are in Aquila, zoom in the station which located south according to your Nav map. You will see AC gate, right click on it then jump... While you are in AC, easy to find Denep gate already...

Charted system, there is no problem

Yep, some gates are so close or hidden behind stations that they are not vissible on your nav map. So you need to zoom in to the sector were the gate is to see it.
