New player I be

Yeah just started the demo... but it looks like I can't get into a big cruiser or battel ship. limits of the demo or is it jus tnot doable.. I havent seen any thing saying we can or can't. but the crews things makes it sound like a yes.

There are no capitol ships available to players. There is a large "freighter" of sorts, but hardly a capitol ship.
This game is designed for single ship exploration, trading and combat when necessary.
There are however, a number of ship types available including single seat military craft.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

So far I've just been dabbling in the demo. This is really fun though i do wish i could fly some thing larger than a fighter type ship. I have faith it will be added into a later game seeing as the crew system is already worked out its only a matter of getting the income to pay all those people.
I gotta say though its heart breaking doing a good contract getting paid and jumping back to a planet to refuel and rearm when you find you just warped into atmosphere and explode.... gotta learn to not do that.

To avoid said heartbreak, I suggest you remap the "F2" key to something else ... perhaps an unused key on the NumPad.
