I use a GeForce Cuda (came with my laptop) no idea about its strength, but its a pretty recent model, and it can play high end games with very few problems. Seems to hate EL (I can run the latest high-end games like modern warfare 2 smoothly, but EL seems to lag at random moments, didn't have this problem with my old card)

I am using a nvidia GeForce 8200M G integrated chipset. Runs the game fine for the most part after setting texture and star quality to medium, it runs it perfectly.

I'm using a PNY Nvidea powered card - 7600GS w/512 MB onboard. It was designed with Windows Vista in mind (which is OP/SYS I currently use) The card utilizes DirectX 10 (supplied with Vista) 3.0 shader. It works fast and pretty.

Thanks for the warning. I'll keep an eye peeled and a laser warmed up (... maybe two).

I'll be venturing out in a bit; I need to flatten my learning curve a little ...I just acquired the game.

I've done some online multiplayer gaming before, not much mind you, but enough to learn that every server/game is different. In any event I've had my head handed to me enough to know not to broach the unknown until I have minimum decent weaponage and the skillage to use em'.

Great to hear Eclipse. They always do that with hardware. Make you buy stuff that is not designed for the reason you buying it. LOL :P:P:P:P:P

I have a Radeon X1950... I don't see it in the poll, though. Or is that card part of the X600-X1300 series?

ATI 4870. Was going to crossfire, but I just never do. two cards seems like too much money when I upgrade and I tell myself I'll get one when prices drop a bit, but then the money I would use for getting a old card would be more useful getting a newer card.. and so the cycle continues.

BTW the 480 was release this week. Should get some new benchmarks soon.

I have read some good reviews on the crossfire setup, but I have stuck with an sli rig since the old voodoo days:cool:

Wanted the new 5 series when I bought my new uber PC last November but they were in very short supply so went for one of these and been more than happy with it.
