Nope, stuck! No idea what I am to do with the profiles I have downloaded. The extensions of these profiles are .pr0, but the SST is looking for .dat files.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

IC
the x52 site has downloads for .dat files on some games. Good luck.:)

You have to update your profile editor software from Saiteks Website. Mine was using .dat before I updated the profile editor and driver and now my X52 works with .pro files ;)

Chears MuchTalk. Working now. BTW, what does the clutch button do? Tried to programme it to do stuff, but nothing happens.

Keep going son - you can help the old man when he gets his new one. Or should I go for the X52 Pro?

Yes, E Bay/Pay Pal found in my favour and have reimbursed my money. So given it has already been spent ("Her" words, not mine), I'm off to get a new toy!!!!

The clutch button is suppose to enable you to change profiles on the fly. To use it as a programmable button you have to uncheck the 2 check boxes in your X52 Control Panel in the lower right hand corner of the MFD Tab. And then delete in your profile the 3 shift modes so that you only have 3 modes. Now you can program the clutch button. I have programmed mine for IDS/Inertia control.;)

Here's a great opportunity for you to rub him the eye!
Don't buy an X52, look for an X45 and then you can prove to him what I have been saying all along...it's a better controller!
It has none of the spinning and rolling problems of the X52, is easier to program, and has more features.
What more could you want ?

The clutch button on the X52 has nothing to do with the shift states. The shift modes are controlled by the pinkie switch, not the clutch button.
Yes, this is true. Delete the shift state modes if you want to program the pinky switch as a regular button.;)
