From the instructions:

Once you become wealthy, you might want to consider purchasing a station license. Once you buy a license, you can grab anything you want from a station at a discount of 25%. You'll still have to pay full price for fuel and items you give to the station will be sold at the reduced price. But getting weapons, commodities, and equipment at a discount can provide a major financial benefit in the long run. Owning a station license also removes any docking fees you would normally have to pay in that system due to a moderate or hostile reputation. The station will also protect you from hostile ships in the area while you are docked. You can cancel a license later, but the price you pay is not returned to you. Choose the station carefully when investing in a license, make sure it carries the items you will be most interested in and/or is in a location you need a safe docking point in. Buying a station license will prompt you to save your progress to apply required changes to your profile.

Going to one of the war zones is actually easier than Olympus. imho! There are few wandering Reds in the WZs, and you have the added benefit of adding military rank, better military ships, for your missions.

Another plus, in the WZs is that, if you are using a civilian ship, with the 5 cargo bays, there is herds of cargo drifting around after a mission. Even better in MP, even more cargo, and hardly anyone with a civ ship to pick it up - money just floating around!

 Co-op contracts in a war zone are great for civilians ... meaning, working with other non-AI pilots. Otherwise, if you log on and find yourself alone in a WZ, you could easily come away having died a thousand deaths. And nothing much to show for it.

There is a military carrier near eratoII , there is no combat there, but any missions you do will add to your military rank ;)

Better buy them when they are that cheap. Only 1.5 million ?

Now with my ranking and credit I'm lucky to find a lincense for under 500 million. And I have come accross Licenses for just under 1 billion at 999 million. LOL :P:P:P:P:P

The easiest way is to find a gate to another system. Open your nav map to help find them. Good flying to you.:)

As thetiebers points out, use the gates. Look for the purple X icons on the nav map, you can right click on them to plot jump points directly to them.

Yes, but some gates and wormholes and systems and stations are out of regular travel ways and some are hidden and do not show up on your nav map. So sometimes you have to travel the long way and some times explore to find the hidden gateways or systems etc...........;)

Just travel to a war zone and land on carrier. The shipyard on a military carrier will offer military ships. For better civilian ships, you'll need to travel to one of the more advanced systems (check the Economy Nav Map).
