First of all, I would just like to say after playing the demo, and the time running out, I was hooked. I bought the full version and loved it. This game is mental! there is just so much to do on it, I can not believe it, and it plays wonderfully on my acer 2920 notebook. Brilliant. I finally have a great game, besides the myst saga, that I can play. Down to business.
1: Can you just buy and steal antimatter pods, or can you make it somehow? If so, what equipment do you need to do this and what raw source?
2: I often am carrying important items in my cargo bay, but when I take on a transport contract, I am required to jettison all my cargo. So, how can I obtain storage at space stations/planets so I can safely leave it at stations, so that I can go deliver some cargo on contract?

FROM STRATEGY GUIDE:
1. Constructor stations can build components from raw materials. For items that are built in different classes, you generally need 5-9 units for a class 1 model, 10-14 units for a class 2 model, 15-19 units for a class 3 model, 20-24 units for a class 4 model, or 25 units for a class 5 model. Here is a list of raw materials and the available components that a constructor station can make with them:
Hydrogen >Shield Booster/Capacitor
Electronics >Cargo Scanner
Metal Ore >Armor Plating (1 unit of armor per 2 units of Metal)
Anti-Matter Cells >Fuel Converter (requires 25 units)
Fusion Cells >Fulcrum Jump Drive
Machinery Components > Repair System
Platinum >Probe (requires 25 units)
2. Dock to a station, enter shipyard, you will see hangar button there. It needs regular fee!
Also, download and try test version, you can select items to jettison now. It will be official soon.
Welcome aboard.

Renegades doesn't have constructor stations, so the suggestion above won't help there. Answers to your questions below:
You can buy them when they are available at a local trade station. Sometimes capital ships could transport them, meaning you could recover them from such ships after a battle. High level economies generally have the best chance of having them available for sale (particularly some uncharted/hidden locations).1: Can you just buy and steal antimatter pods, or can you make it somehow? If so, what equipment do you need to do this and what raw source?
A hangar feature was introduced in Legends which lets you do that. In Renegades, you'll either need to sell the items for their value prior to delivery or link up with another player in multiplayer and have them hold on to the items until you're done.2: I often am carrying important items in my cargo bay, but when I take on a transport contract, I am required to jettison all my cargo. Thanks for the input. That is what I was suspecting. The thing is, my notebook can handle renegades with sliders maxed out. Legends it can't
. I hate to play games with slow frame rates or not so good detail, so that is why I bought renegades. So, what about cargo containers that I can install in the shipyard.
1: Do you know whether you can buy cargo containers with more than 5 slots?
2: Can you install more than one cargo container on your ship whithin the shipyard?
3:) What about this "test version" warsign was talking about? Was that for legends or renegades?
Thanks again for all the help
