Thanks Vice for all you do!
Every upgrade you design seems to makes this game even more fun.
Every week the population of Evochron is growing, especially on the Multi-player servers.

Excellent work, Vice! Good show! Thanks for making the games that the players want.

There are a lot of bigger game companies out there, but I think they have lost touch with the players on some level. They put a lot of money into developing the games that they want to sell, but not necessarily what the gamers want.

The fact that you listen to the players and design the games that the players want is a very rare thing.

I am certain most companies try to make what the player wanten, Nigel, since thats their income.

That said, Vice indeed is extraordinarily good at it, so I do donate some money over through that donation page script each month as a thank-you (and to ensure continuation of the series as long as he wants to)!

Yep, it is uncommon to find this sort of interaction in a game forum with the creator himself. Thanks, and thanks again.
Best regards

Yes, Vice is one of the best indy developers I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. No smart remarks, no insulting people, no holier-than-thou attitude, and he chooses to spend his free time with his customers. Oh, and he makes some of the best sandbox space games in the history of the world!

Thank you Vice for all that you do and have done!

I agree. Vice is an amazing indy game developer, I mean really amazing. When I first saw Evochron Legends I assumed it was developed by a big company with a big budget and a massive team. I thought "There's no way one guy can make a game like this". Thanks for making this amazing game, and refusing to conform with all the big companies who just chase after the money and don't really care about making a good game. What's even more amazing is how one guy (You're the developer I know, but you're still one guy handling all the issues alone) can provide much better technical support than an entire team of trained staff, and release patches on really short notice! Man, are you sure you're not superhuman or something?

I remember looking at the original StarWraith stuff such a long time ago ..... thinking back then, "WOW, that planet is getting closer".

Now he's developing a full terrain system, it will be a definite time burner for me for years to come.

Thanks Vice, you are the sort of developer I would like to be, instead of these lousy business apps I write, and the occasional home grown "move the pixel" experiments.

Live long, alien man.
