This is a richly satisfying game. I commend you Vice for crafting such an engaging universe. Some of the things I've discovered over the past week and a half have truely amazed and awed me.

Some of the planets and backgrounds look positively stunning. The planets with rings are always gorgeous and I love the way you can see the atmosphere engulf the planet as you approach. The transitions into and out of the atmosphere are great too. I was really impressed with the nebulas and rainy/snowy planets too.

The ship physics is awesome and provides for some very believeable and enjoyable flying experiences. Combat has never been more satisfying.

Ship customization is great. I've never been able to build my own ship before and I thoughly enjoy crafting a new design.

The commerce is nicely balanced which allows you to jump right in and be sucessful while still offering some depth to keep you coming back to it. It seems very well thought out and I congratulate you on getting that balance just right.

With crews and fleets plus a military career, the options seem endless. I'm always thinking about what I want to do next. I really feel like a Han Solo and as a 40 something fanatic of Space Operas I'm really giddy about the abilty to play out the life of a character like him.

The sounds are also top notch. The afterbuners are particularly well done as they convey perfectly that sense that you are burning a lot of fuel. I even find the background music to be perfectly suited to instill a serene mood.

Everwhere I look I see years of love and care put into this game and I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate it.
