Cargo Management in Legends, Please Advise

GOAL
I spent the better part of the night tracking down Fusion Cells and Hydrogen to make better equipment at the Constructor.

PROBLEM
Small problem, I found 21 units here, 22 units there, and none of them stacked into the same cargo container.

So, I have TWO stacks of Hydrogen, and TWO stacks of Fusion Cells.

I need 25 units per type in a cargo hold to get the equipment I want.

FAILED SOLUTIONS
I tried right clicking a stack, but that just sold individual units when docked, didn't move things around. In space it destroyed the stack (yay for saving ahead).

I pressed J to jettison my cargo and tractored it back, but nothing filled the stack, it was all still jumbled.

HOW can I get an even stack of 25 here? Thanks in advance.

Hi Xnemth, Welcome to the Game and Forum. Hope to see you out there!

Buy individual units from Stations by right clicking on units to buy from Station till you have the 25 units you need.
This is the only solution I think.

Is it possible to buy single units from other ships too? That's the only place I've found these items so far.

I do not think so since the other ship decides what and how much it wants to trade/sell. I do not have that much experience trading with other ships.

Well shoot. I guess I'll have to try and find it at stations then. There doesn't happen to be a commodities tracker or anything does there? Something to help locate what's being sold where?

Nope, but sometimes there are announcements about new Items available at Stations in a System or Sector.

That kind of cargo management should be on Vice's do to list.... dunno how difficult it can be to code or implement, but merging two slots of the same thing to get to 25 units or less should be possible.

Also a commodities tracker would make the Game to easy in my opinion specially if you needed to find certain equipment or weapons or even commodities you would exactly know where to find them every time!

That kind of cargo management should be on Vice's do to list.... dunno how difficult it can be to code or implement, but merging two slots of the same thing to get to 25 units or less should be possible.

It will be added for the next update. Details:

To consolidate commodity cargo, dock at a station or city and use the ALT key with either the left or right mouse button. Left click to combine matching commodities up to the limit of 25 per cargo bay. Right click to transfer one unit at a time.

Good to know, I hoped for a in flight option but still good to be able to do it while docked.
