Ist cargo recover mission for Sapphire Navy

Can this be done with the cargo/Talon provided at the beginning of the game? I got the tractor beam but can't recover. Thanks.

As long as the cargo bay is empty, yes. Get close to the container, then leave the tractor beam at full power until the container is transported aboard.

Thanks Vice. This won't be my last stupid question so be patient. I only get 20 or 30 minutes a night to learn the game.
