Space Combat

Post by tals »

So I made my way to Olympia from Saphire and the missions get a whole lot more interesting.

I'm a mouse player and till now that has been fine - however i'm getting absolutely owned by the AI players, is it a case that the basic ship is just not good enough (or i'm not :) ) I tried upgrading the particle weapon but then the targetting seemed way off?

Any tips or should I continue with standard contracts till I have enough money to take on the combat side?

Yes, basic ships are weak as usual. I suggest you, try to make money and buy better parts and frames.

Targetting off? Probably you closed it. Called MDS (L key as default).Lasers don't work w/o tracking system.

H key on and off your hud. Additional info, you may need it :)

Yes, for me, continue doing contracts or mining or trading (there are many ways to make money w/o fighting), buy better parts for your ship then go to war zones or start to fight.

Welcome aboard.
